We are currently looking for a design engineer to work at our engineering facility in Ripon, North Yorkshire.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our award-winning design team to refine and develop our current and future product range. Our engineering facility is one of the very few that allows the designer to see their creation evolve from raw material to final product, through our suite of state-of-the-art equipment.

The successful candidate must have experience with the use of 3D software, as we use Autodesk Inventor, Radan and Bysoft. Although training will be provided, a strong knowledge of product manufacturing, particularly sheet metal, will beneficial. You must also be enthusiastic, confident and able to work within a team.

The role will include:

Working as part of the design team to produce high-quality drawings that meet current engineering refinements and future product requirements.

Refining our current range of machines, which includes salt spreaders, tippers, hotboxes and multi-purpose bodies, all designed and built at our facility in Ripon.

Developing our future product range.

Focusing on the continuous improvement, monitoring and maintenance of designs to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.

Liaising with both the manufacturing team and our suppliers to ensure the optimal specification of components.
