Econ Engineering Limited are the UK’s leading manufacturer of winter and multi-purpose equipment for the highway maintenance sector and are currently looking to recruit for the role of an HGV Service Engineer/Mechanic working out of our new workshops in Sowerby.
As a HGV Service Engineer/Mechanic you must be capable of completing work to a high standard, whilst adhering to procedures and processes at all times.
You will also be a team player with excellent attention to detail. The right individual must also be confident and professional in their approach as well as someone who is efficient and motivated.
The successful candidate will be experienced in working with all major makes of chassis (particular previous experience with DAF and/or Mercedes would be an advantage but not essential). Based at our depot in Sowerby – the candidate would be an integral part of a team servicing and maintaining a gritter fleet.
Class 2 HGV licence would be helpful but not essential.
Role would include:
Working from our Sowerby Depot, Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 5.00pm and Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm, with an hour lunch break each day.
