We are currently looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer based in Central Scotland.
The successful candidate will be an experienced commercial vehicle engineer and will be required to maintain, calibrate and repair hydraulically powered highway maintenance vehicles including the chassis. Previous experience with DAF/Mercedes chassis would be an advantage.
Ideally based in Central Scotland you will be working from home. The successful candidate will need to have the ability to adapt to flexible working hours especially in winter. The position incorporates out of hours working in order to provide customers with assistance with repairs/breakdowns and standby will be required. The call out season runs from the beginning of October until the middle of May and duties will be shared with other service engineers.
The candidate must be able to work on their own initiative but also be a team player
Role would include:-
A fully equipped van will be provided. Training and backup will be given, and a HGV licence is an advantage.
An extremely competitive salary plus bonus, overtime, standby allowance and pension will be paid.
